Here you will find our General Terms and Conditions (GTC), which apply to bookings and stays at all our locations.
Our GTC are designed to provide clarity and transparency – so you know exactly what you can rely on.
§ 1 Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services provided by Lunas Apartments, Kaiser-Wilhelm-Platz 3, 45470 Mülheim an der Ruhr (hereinafter “Provider”), in the context of renting apartments.
§ 2 Description of Services
The Provider grants the temporary use of apartments (§ 549 para. 2 no. 1 BGB) for a limited period of time. The rental is usually connected to business or private stays in the region. Utilities are included in the price.
Please note: Lunas Apartments does not operate a reception. Check-in is exclusively contactless via access code provided to the customer prior to arrival.
§ 3 Conclusion of Contract
The contract is concluded in writing, by telephone, or via the online booking system.
In online bookings, the customer submits a binding offer by clicking “book with obligation to pay.” Data can be reviewed and corrected before final submission.
By submitting the offer, the customer confirms that all details are correct and accepts these GTC.
The contract becomes binding once accepted by the Provider.
If a written individual contract deviates from these GTC, the written contract prevails.
The Provider may require the customer to present valid identification (passport or ID card).
§ 4 Duration, Cancellation, Termination
The contract period is defined in the agreement between the parties.
Check-in from 3:00 pm, check-out by 10:00 am.
If payment is not received at least 7 days before arrival (or within 1 business day for last-minute bookings), the Provider may terminate the contract immediately.
Free cancellation is possible up to 7 days before arrival. After this period or in case of no-show, 100% of the agreed price will be charged.
The right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected.
§ 5 Prices and Payment
The customer is obliged to pay the agreed prices for accommodation and additional services.
For long-term stays, the monthly rate (28 days) is payable in advance for each extension period.
Prices include statutory VAT.
Invoices must be paid within 10 days. In case of default, statutory interest (§ 288 BGB) applies (base rate + 5%).
The Provider may request a reasonable advance payment or security deposit.
§ 6 House Rules / Conduct
Smoking is strictly prohibited. A special cleaning fee applies in case of violation.
Quiet hours: 8:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please avoid disturbing noise.
Waste must be disposed of in designated bins.
Bicycles, strollers, etc. may only be placed in designated areas without blocking others.
Apartments must be properly ventilated, heated, and handled with care.
Note: There is no reception at Lunas Apartments. Guests receive their access codes in advance and can reach us at any time via the contact details provided.
§ 7 Internet & Devices
The internet must not be used for illegal activities or file sharing.
Additional electronic devices may only be connected with prior approval.
§ 8 Pets
Pets are not permitted, except with prior written approval. Assistance dogs are exempt.
§ 9 Liability & Damages
Guests are liable for damages caused by themselves or their visitors.
The Provider assumes no liability for vehicles or personal belongings.
§ 10 End of Stay
Apartments must be returned by 10:00 am in a clean condition.
All keys must be returned. Lost keys will be charged at replacement cost.
§ 11 Final Provisions
The Provider may amend these GTC where necessary (legal/technical changes). Customers will be informed and may object within 4 weeks.
German law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Essen, unless the customer is a consumer.
